A complete renovation, along with the addition of two new sections, has transformed the scale and layout of this 1930s farmhouse, nestled in the charming town of Westport, CT.

Throughout the space, nautical elements, like the newly applied horizontal shiplap walls throughout the Foyer + Hallways, pay tribute to the rich maritime history of the city. This detail appears in a larger scale on the Great Room fireplace wall creating cohesiveness.

Each room was transformed from it’s original state, breathing new life into the historical residence.

This tailored sitting room is an oasis of calm in the heart of the home. Depth is created by using various materials in one color. The panels of patterned silk on the ceiling are an unexpected detail for this respite from work and family life.

Concrete Moroccan tiles add endless character and black painted slices of walls frame different elements in this farmhouse kitchen.

Reclaimed wood envelops this typical hall closet, converting it into a defining moment with it’s deep bench and generous hooks, surrounded underfoot by beautiful and easy to maintain gray limestone.
